For those that were waiting the next version of Ubuntu, the wait is now over, as Canonical released Ubuntu 13.04 “Raring Ringtail” today. You can download the 32-bit and 64-bit versions over at the official Ubuntu website.

While hardcore Linux users will likely continue to avoid Ubuntu for being too proprietary and simplified, the new features found in Raring Ringtail continue Canonical’s goal of making Linux more mainstream and unifying the desktop and mobile platforms.
