number of questions not covered in manual

Post by smooveb »

Hi,

I'm going to start a thread for my questions, but others can join up with their own anytime. For a game of such complexity, that little manual doesn't seem to do the trick very well!!

Level Gaining - is the only effect to provide you with more hit points, and then skill points are used to train up skills? When training, are the number of skill points used equal to the increase in the trained skill?

Winning a fight - I've got people with stars on their picture. what's that all about?

Formations - if I'm putting a little guy (lulu in my case) in the back, but use his cyclone skill, he seems to move up front where he can take the most damage. why is this?

well, this is just a start, and I'll probably return to add another question or two later when I think of them. Thanks for any and all answers, and advice thrown in for good measure. Thus far, am really enjoying this game!

B

Hey smooveb, welcome to the forums! To answer some of your questions:

The stars seem to represent the number of kills that person has made. If you look at a character's status, there is a "kill" number in the upper right. So, the more kills you do, the more stars you get. How this affects the characters? I'm not quite so sure yet. ???

I was wondering if anyone knew where to find a map of all the places you can go with the labels on them. I can't find any.
