Just beat Fallout 3 last night. The main quest is pretty short, as it was only about 4-5 hours long. The ending was pretty lame too.

Fortunately, there's a lot of side-quests and areas that I haven't done yet, so I'll go back and check those out. I think I'll try to blow up Megaton this time around. ;)

sorta like oblivion then * bad ending, short main quest*
do you at least get special armor or weapon at end like oblivions imperial dragon armor
the reason i like bethseda is because there games are always *do what you want be evil as you like or good as you want* and quest rewards that own *like one quest i did on oblivion made me duke of mania and giving me a crown

Nope. If you beat the main quest, it's the end of the game, so no special items are given.

Just don't finish the last mission in the main quest and you'll be fine.

I dunno, I watched a few trailers and played a demo. and everyone keeps saying is the best shooter ever...
It doesnt really have the shooter feeling imo. I mean which shooter lets you freeze the screen to aim at your enemy XD, makes it too easy.

I guess its just my opinion. maybe ill buy it, when its priced down XD. im more interested in mirror's edge atm. XD

I wouldn't call it a shooter, since Fallout 3 involves more than just shooting at monsters. It's definitely more of a Adventure-RPG game (similar to TESIV: Oblivion), where you level up, is non-linear, have quests to do, and can interact with people/objects.
