🏛️ More Than 15 Years of Minecraft History<\/h2>\n
Y-Corner isn’t a newly generated Minecraft server or a world that resets every few months.<\/p>\n
The server has been running since October 2010<\/strong>, and the world has been preserved and upgraded through many generations of Minecraft. Over the years, players have constructed homes, towns, transportation networks, large-scale projects, and other developed areas throughout the world.<\/p>\nMany of these builds remain today.<\/p>\n
New Minecraft updates also mean new opportunities to explore. Players are welcome to travel beyond the established regions, discover newer terrain, gather resources, and establish their own part of the Y-Corner world.<\/p>\n
The world does not periodically reset.<\/strong> Our goal is to continue preserving and expanding it as Minecraft evolves.<\/p>\n⛏️ Survival for All New Players<\/h2>\n
Y-Corner is primarily a Survival Minecraft server<\/strong>.<\/p>\nAll new players begin in Survival Mode<\/strong> and can explore, gather resources, mine, craft, build, farm, and establish their own bases throughout available areas of the world.<\/p>\nCreative Mode is restricted to trusted players.<\/strong><\/p>\nThis allows new players to enjoy a traditional Survival experience while helping us protect a world containing many years of existing creations.<\/p>\n
🛡️ Protecting the Y-Corner World<\/h2>\n
Preserving a Minecraft world that dates back to 2010 is important to us.<\/p>\n
Following incidents of griefing in the past, Y-Corner has implemented stronger security and world protections before reopening the server to the public.<\/p>\n
Major established and developed areas are protected against unauthorized modification. Additional safeguards and regular backups are also in place to help protect the world and its history.<\/p>\n
These protections are intended to prevent griefing without stopping new players from exploring and creating their own builds.<\/p>\n
📜 Server Rules<\/h2>\n
Y-Corner is intended to be a friendly place to play Minecraft. We ask everyone joining the server to follow a few basic rules:<\/p>\n
\n- No griefing.<\/strong> Do not destroy, modify, or vandalize another player’s builds.<\/li>\n
- No stealing.<\/strong> Respect other players’ items, storage, and resources.<\/li>\n
- No cheating or exploits.<\/strong> Do not use hacked clients, exploits, or other tools that provide an unfair advantage.<\/li>\n
- Respect protected areas.<\/strong> Established locations may be protected to preserve existing builds.<\/li>\n
- Respect other players.<\/strong> Harassment and intentionally disruptive behavior are not welcome.<\/li>\n
- Build responsibly.<\/strong> You’re encouraged to create your own projects, but please respect existing builds and developed areas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
\nPlayers who deliberately grief or attempt to damage the server may be permanently banned<\/strong>.<\/p>\n🌎 Explore, Build and Become Part of the World<\/h2>\n
One of the things that makes Y-Corner different is its history.<\/p>\n
You aren’t joining an empty world. You’ll find structures and projects created by players across many different eras of Minecraft, alongside enormous areas waiting to be explored.<\/p>\n
Find an undeveloped area and build a home. Start a settlement. Create a farm. Explore distant terrain. Work with other players on a larger project.<\/p>\n
