EA Releases Command & Conquer: Red Alert for Free!

Post by Yoon »

To celebrate the upcoming launch of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, EA has released the original C&C Red Alert for free! This is similar to last year's free release of the original C&C prior to the release of C&C 3. You can grab the original Red Alert game here:

You can also check out the C&C: RA3 trailer at the link above. Looks like the "cheesy" traditional C&C videos will be showing up in C&C: RA3 too.

Wow, interesting trailer. With all the good things I've heard about Red Alert I just might have to do as that page suggests and play the whole series now.

I enjoyed playing the Red Alert series more than the original C&C series, due to the less serious storyline, light-hearted humorous videos, and fun/interesting missions.

For example, there's a mission in the Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge expansion where you have to 'liberate' Hollywood and you can enlist the help of Hollywood actor-like units, such as the Terminator, Rambo, Jurassic Park, Clint Eastwood, etc. :D

I hoping that Red Alert 3 will be just as fun as the original Red Alert and RA 2.
