when i first heard this was coming out i though wicked due to marvel and capcom both owning. i guess it isent that bad in 2d but i guess this will be a good game

Hell yeah, it's a GREAT game! It's an all-time classic! I used to play Marvel VS. Capcom 2 on Dreamcast all the time, back in 2000 (can't believe it's already been 9 years since it was released ). As a fan of Capcom's 2D fighting games, 3D is definitely not needed to enjoy a classic like Marvel VS. Capcom 2. I still have the original and play it whenever I take out the Dreamcast.

MvC 2 is also coming out for PlayStation Network, so I may get it when it comes out this summer. They say that the XBox 360 & PS3 versions of MvC 2 will have the ability to upscale to 720P & 1080P resolutions for HDTVs, so that would definitely be a plus.
