No homi, it is like a mount. As in, just like a falcon, you get that "off" option to remove your magic gear when you open your equip window.

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
With all these new classes, perhaps it will bring back a certain amount of joy and excitement back to RO, which is something that RO seems to have lost over the past year(s). The only concern that I have is that by having so many available classes, class balance could be a real issue, making some classes way overpowered, while making others completely useless.

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
i agree with you yoon some will become useless and some will be used alot i mean guilliteen cross has a urber sonic blow verson with 1000% damage a hit and its 7 hits OWCH thats gonna hurt
there again they dont have any specials like runeknight, mecanic or ranger and since priest will be even harder to kill and warlock would suck there blood i guess it could even themselfs out
infact i think it might go with the weapon chain as in
Melee--->Range-->Magic
---> Melee and the cycle begins once again of course this isent always accurate

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
Mike, I had the same question. Apparently thats the very reason behind the major rebalancing that is Renewal.
A really major change is how EDP works. With renewal, it DOES NOT stack with Sonic Blow the way it does now.
EDP gives you 400% damage.
On normal attacks, you would deal 400% with EDP.
Before renewal, EDP+Sonic Blow would deal 800*4 = 3200% damage
After renewal, EDP+Sonic Blow deals only 800%+400% = 1200%
Also, instant cast is impossible after renewal. There is a variable cast and fixed cast time parts to every spell. Meaning, there will always be a minimum cast time which is non-reducable.
As for the overpoweredness of Guillotine Crosses, from what I read on the testing forums, it is not the regular attacks which are really strong but the poisons they can create and use.
Right now, I feel very positive towards Renewal. I just hope they do not screw this up.

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
what i like about the new classes is the more uniqueness *like runeknights on land mount and royal guard on flying mount* from the 2 pecolike mounts + all the 3rd classes spirits iv seen are a defenent improvement to theree 2nd class spirits. btw how many job points does a 3rd class have?

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
Heard about 50, not sure though...
If my wish is to be granted, please bring me to you right now.
If life can be repeated, I'll go to you many times over
There's nothing else that I want,
Nothing else is more important than you.

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
hmm, I wont go iRO or qRO, unless there are enough people that go there...
frankly I dont trust qRO. iRO is a no go either cause a low rate isnt that much fun to solo.
And since most people dropped raije, I'm at a total loss about RO atm....
Ill keep playing Raije. It would have been fun if we all could play again like we used to. w/o having any obligations. w/o rushing each other to get woe ready >_>. Just plain and simple fun by playing together. partying, DB w/e.
Thats what made us an owning guild in the old qRO.

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
Someone made a YouTube video showing the new 3-1 classes in action. The Rune Knight and the Ranger skills look awesome! Check it out!

Re: Ragnarok Renewal
There are videos on all the 3-1 classes on YouTube. You have to search a bit, cause some are not in English.
