Getting new skins.

Well I just downloaded 3 new skins yesterday and they all look great. So I decided to make this thread so anyone else who wants to, but doesn't know how to, can change there skins also. I only know one place with skins to download. So if you know about another place with more skins you can post them here if you want.

Step 1: Create an account at the ROempires forum. ( required to be able to download skins from here )

Step 2: Log in to your new account.

Step 3: Pick a skin from the long list of skins. ( After you click the link and are there just click the go button. It will load a list of skins. ) http://www.roempire.com/?page=skins ( simply click on the title of the skin you want and save it in your Skins folder that is in your RO folder, that is in your gravity folder. lol.

Step 4: go into your skins folder and right click on your new skin and click extract here. ( you need winrar or some other file to be able to extract it. Most likely you have one but if not then download it here. )

Step 5: now that you extracted it a folder should be seen here and that is your new skin, ( now just delete the file you right right clicked and clicked extract here ) because you have everything you need extracted into the new folder.

Step 6: log into your char and click on options and look at your new skin.

I tried to be as specific as I can aboute everything I said. If this thread was helpfull to you and you now have a new skin, then please post a screenshot of your skin so we can all see what you chose. Here is the one I chose to use.

I went into my RO folder under gravity but dont see the skins folder. SHould i just create my own skins folder? And if i do what do i have 2 name it exactly?

there should already be a skins folder (the default skin has to go somewhere). look around the folder a little bit more.

the folder is just named skin, but you have to have a skin folder already with the default skin in it.

Umm looked and did a search on folders and wasnt there. I just made a folder named skin and it says i can switch in the game but when i do switch the skin it doesnt change anything. Anyone know wats wrong with it?
