What's On Your Desktop?

Just did an overhaul of my desktop recently:

Image

It may look like Vista, but looks could fool. ;) It's actually Windows XP Professional + Vista Transformation Pack 6.0 + Windows Sidebar RC2 (VAIO Interface) + ObjectDock (love the dock feature from OSX). :D

I've been through a bunch of wallpapers based on various anime and webcomics. The biggest change came recently when I got tired of my bloated start menu and started fiddling with the options and folders for it. Now I have a midget start menu XD. I also really like my new background. It's from the webcomic currently linked to in my sig (no, not the stick figure based one XD)

lol I just realized it's been exactly 1 year since the last post in this thread XD

Nice background, Jaegar. :) Are those female versions of Cloud and Sepiroth?

Anyhow, it's definitely been a long time since anyone posted in this thread... let's bring it back to life! Here's a screenshot of my current desktop on my main PC:

This is now running real Windows Vista, with RocketDock.

Two characters from the comic dressed as Cloud and Sephiroth. Close enough though. lol... I read waay too many comics that do that kinda stuff (the gender confusion). I have a random question. Was there a story that used repeated gender changing for humor before Ranma, or is that really what started it?

tiiiny desktop O.o I guess that's why your start menu is so bloated? That's my desktop after a cleaning. I use it as well... a desktop XD if I'm working with stuff, I just toss it on the desktop. When I finish with it, get distracted, or it starts obscuring my wonderful backgrounds, I clean stuff up (into my documents usually).

nifty wallpaper btw. About the smaller image thing, there should be an option that says something like "clickable thumbnail" that's the one yoon and I used.

In honor of one of the greatest mangas never published in English finally being readable (thanks to some randomly awesome guy I don't know called Ahojed) I've finally gotten rid of the crappy XP default wallpaper.

I also get to show off my new screen resolution ^^p

Image

ooh hey... Isn't there a way to put a different wallpaper on each side of my compiz powered cube? Maybe I should do that next time I restart my PC ^___^

Awesome desktop wallpapers, Jaegar and ascot!

As for the Compiz cube, different wallpapers on each side of the cube should be possible. ;)

I'll post my updated desktop wallpaper later.
