New Dice Command

Post by Yoon »

Instead of the Attack command, a dice feature has been enabled. To use it, press the new dice icon listed under colors. There is a bug with the dice command, in that it doesn't always work. I have found that it works most of the time if you press the dice icon, do a 'Preview', then make the post. It should appear something like this:

You can also do multiple dice rolls as well. Note that this feature is only available in the Dungeons & Dragons section.

hmmm... Interesting o.o

What happened with the dice script I saw you testing a while ago? That one looked really useful. 99% of things that require a d% (and there aren't a lot) are only used by the DM. I think I'll use a conversion table and have the experienced people make their own d20 rolls with this though >3

testytesty [attack=669759819446396]

edit: o.o I didn't put those numbers there. How's that supposed to work exactly?

editedit: my edit made it turn into a graphic when it posted o.O whaaaaaa?

edit 3x: uh ohhhhhh... I can edit it a bunch and it makes a new # each time. I'd play with it till I got a 100, but 94 is good enough for a cheated *roll* The only way I could accept this as a dice roll is if the post had no edit mark. I guess that works. Good thing I already asked to make D&D thread posts not count.

btw, the range on this is 1-100 right? not 0-100 or 0-99 or something right?

aaah! it's not working again now O.o It's not even adding the numbers to the one I posted in the guide-type thread I made. hmm, I'm gonna guess you're tweaking it?

The dice script was having some issues earlier when I was testing it. However, it seems that the dice roll scripter has been updated since I last tested it, so I'll enable the dice script for testing.

However, there are compatibility issues between the attack tag and the dice roll icon, so it's either one or the other.

EDIT: The dice roll script is working a little better than last time, but it is a little buggy. It will only post the dice roll if you 'roll the dice', do a message preview, then post it.

No problem! You can also do multiple dice throws as well, like this:

[dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6][dice=6]

The maximum number of dice you can throw is up to 60. [rand=5117868772756301492231955383356074024812319120306721849015506820657]
