Re: The Swinnon Forest
*awkward silence with an elf holding a halfling in a chair*
He quickly looks at everyone in the room, then looks again. He speaks hurriedly "What are you doing here?! You're not supposed to be here! You never should have left the maze! How did you get here? Gah!!!"
He pauses for breath. You have another opportunity to act/speak.
Leena gets ready to grab him if he starts doing anything she finds suspicious. (Obvious spellcasting, trying to get loose, yelling for help, using an item, etc.)

This is indeed more confusing than a RL game. If you really wanna leave, go ahead. This is supposed to be fun. I can summarize though. We were going to town. We fell in a mysterious trap in the middle of the road (it's not a commonly traveled path). There were weird traps and puzzles and junk that we found our way through, and now we found a guy asleep in a chair and we woke him up and he's surprised.
You can stay, or you can run off down the tunnel the other direction and we'll never see you again, or you can stay. In fact, you could all run off down the tunnel if you like. Leena would get lonely though after she ran away from the NPC T.T

Re: The Swinnon Forest
everybody else got confused or something? I'll keep this up as long as I have at least one player though. lol I can understand these games getting confusing, but ours has really been relatively sane so far. We haven't been eaten by a mushroom with the soul of a chaos elemental or harasses by a tehnomancer in a fantasy based game or anything (both are happening the RL game I'm playing in >.< at least it's a fun kind of crazy)

Depends on what you ask him XD
Try talking and see what happens. He's already said something (first post on this page).

"I'm Willford Greenhill II and you're supposed to be in my trap testing maze! Now let go of me!"
Leena grabs him too...
Leena's grab (1d20=3) fail >.<
his escape (1d20=9) at least Tarq has a good grip
He's getting angry(er).

"Argh! No questions!" *squirms some more*
escape (1d20=11) almost got loose that time.
Does anybody speak halfling?.. mmmmm nope. He says a word that none of us understands.

Re: The Swinnon Forest
He's been speaking common the whole time. He only said the last word in halfling.
