Okay, talking works. Somebody has to make sure he can't cast spells though. One of you who would recognize it (actually everyone except Leena casts spells and would be able to recognize if he started casting...) needs to stop him if he starts casting while we're talking.
I don't think tying him up will work too well because he's in the alarm and I'm guessing it would wake him up if it went off. It's hard to tell because that particular spell is a silent alarm and someone else could have set it... Someone will just have to hold him still. Hmmmm who should do that. *looks at each of you* @Tarq: You wanna do that or should I? Hmmmm we could just go overboard and both grab him =P
So, is that the plan?
edit: okay Nim, you can smack him with the rat if we need to threaten him ^^p lol rat flail

blarg I've been putting this off cuz you're gonna want a map and it's too complex for ASCII (at least too complex to be legible with my crappy ASCII skills). That, and I was kinda hoping you'd definitively declare an action or something. I'll make a map if it becomes necessary...
Leena leads you through the wall (and keeps Fluffy on a short leash). She points out the exact boundary of the alarm as you go. You walk 10' to the right to get a good look at the room. It's roughly circular and something like 50' across with a 20' ceiling. There are several low mounds of mechanical parts, wooden crates and assorted stuff at various points in the room. There also seem to be some assembled machines, but nothing you recognize. Toward the far end of the room there's a small person in a comfortable looking chair next to a worktable with some parts on it. On the wall 20' to your right there's a mechanical device at the base and some rails leading up to a tunnel or opening (~3' across) at the base of the ceiling. On the wall opposite this opening there's a metal platform with a thick, 8' wide metal hoop rising vertically from it. Leena indicates that if you go more than a few feet away from the wall or go left from the entrance or past the pile of junk to your right the alarm will go off. There's 25' of open floor between you and the guy in the chair.

I left part off my big announcement-type post. >.<
I need Tarq to tell me how he's doing this. It's no fun when I do all the serious plot-advancing actions. There's no wrong way for this scene to end (DM me has planned for all probable outcomes), so just go for it.

Re: The Swinnon Forest
lol... guess we'd better get back to it then XD
Okay, continuing (finally). We' still haven't heard one person's input on this though ._.'
Tarq and I both run over and grab the guy in the chair. Let's try out this new roll thing...
two grabs (1d20=5, 1d20=1)
O.o I dun like it. I tripped or something equally horrible. Tarq successfully grabs the little guy and (hopefully) will prevent him from going anywhere. He started waking up as soon as we started moving so the alarm is probably what did it. Was anyone planning to say something to him? You have an opportunity now, but he may do something if you don't.
