edit: I forgot something!!! I was looking for a good feat in my extra books because the basic list of feats has almost nothing for starting spellcasters. I found one that turns your healing spells into minor buffs. It's as follows

Imbued Healing
Whenever you cast a 1st level of higher healing spell you confer an additional benefit to the target in addition to healing hp. The effects available to you are based on your cleric domains (you have healing, knowledge, and sun). You can pick one of the following benefits
Healing: The target gains temporary hp equal to their level
Knowledge: The target gains a +2 bonus to skill and ability checks
Sun: The target gains low-light vision and a +2 bonus on spot checks

The buff lasts for one minute per level of the spell (for now that's just 1 minute). The temporary hp is the most useful one overall. The duration is a bit short for the skill bonuses to be helpful really. The low-light vision could be good if we didn't have enough light to fight for some reason.
