Post by Yoon »

For those that do not like using beta Forceware drivers, nVIDIA has released the latest official Forceware 175.16 drivers for GeForce FX (XP only), 6, 7, 8, and 9 series. These drivers have been WHQL certified, meaning that they have gone through testing at the labs of Microsoft.

You can grab the latest official Forceware drivers at nVIDIA's website:

Driver Download Links:

Windows XP (32/64-Bit) / Windows Vista (32/64-Bit): http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us

For those using nVIDIA-powered laptops, you can grab the drivers over at LaptopVideo2Go.com:

Windows XP (32-Bit): http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18547
Windows XP (64-Bit): http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18549
Windows Vista (32-Bit): http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18548

Installation Instructions:

1.) Uninstall the NVIDIA drivers from "Program Add/Remove"
2.) Install and Run Driver Sweeper with "NVIDIA Display" selected. (It's recommended to do this, so that left over data from old graphics drivers don't conflict with the new ones.)
3.) Restart the computer.
4.) Install the new Forceware drivers.
