nVIDIA Forceware 177.98 BETA Drivers Released!

Post by Yoon »

Forceware 177.98 was leaked by an unknown party a few weeks ago. These drivers support GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and GTX series video cards. Changes and updates from the last released Forceware are unknown, so use at your own risk. There is a known "Digital Vibrance" bug with these Forceware drivers, but they can be fixed by using RivaTuner's monitor settings.

For laptop users, mobilenvidia of LaptopVideo2Go.com has modded them so that they can run on mobile Quadro FX, GeForce FX (2000/XP only), 6, 7, 8, and 9 series video cards as well.

Installation Instructions:

1.) Uninstall the NVIDIA drivers from "Program Add/Remove"
2.) Install and Run Driver Sweeper with "nVIDIA Display" selected. It's recommended to do this, so that left over data from old graphics drivers don't conflict with the new ones.
3.) Restart the computer.
4.) Install the new Forceware drivers.
