For those of us running Vista, you might be interested to know that Microsoft has completed Service Pack 2 (SP2) for Windows Vista & Server 2008. Although it has been completed, Microsoft is not releasing the RTM (final) version of SP2 out to the public until June.
However, thanks to some internal Microsoft testers, SP2 (RTM) has been leaked out, and is available over at My Digital Life:

Aside from multiple security fixes, Vista SP2 includes:
• Ability to burn Blu-ray discs natively.
• Support for the Bluetooth v2.1 and Windows Connect Now (WCN) Wi-Fi protocol.
• Better Wi-Fi performance in Vista's sleep mode.
• RSS feeds in sidebar gadget improved.
• Windows Search 4 engine.
• Sidebar gadgets take less resources.
• Support for VIA Technologies 64-bit CPU.
• Support exFAT file format for flash memory.
• Boost your power management efficiency by 10 percent.
I have successfully installed Vista SP2 RTM on my main PC and HTPC, although it failed to install on my laptop for some reason. Haven't really much improvements so far.
