How to Use the Shop

not a bad idea, I'd like to have a larger variety of items rather than upgrading though.

my idea...

the point was, we could use it to show the equips of your main char.
so i that everyone can see what we use.
like equip topics in the "job" part of the forum

Sorry for not updating the shop for a long time. The shop contents have now been updated to include several types of Maces, Spears, and Whips.

UPDATE: 4/06/07

Very large update on the shop feature today. First off, all post counts are now worth 10,000z instead of 1,000z. Because of the post-rate change, everyone should now have some extra zeny in their account.

Second, the maximum inventory limit has been increased to 20 items (previous limit was 10 items total).

Third, several new items have been added to the shop, which include:

- Valkyrie Equipment
- Apple of Archer
- Ice Pick
- Various Cards
- Various Foot Gears
- Various Garments
- Various Shields

The shop won't give me the pets I bought. Also, I didn't buy a tsurugi, but it shows it in my items. Everything's right on the page where I buy/sell stuff, I just don't have it (or do have it) elsewhere

Strange, I'll try to determine what's causing the problem for you.

EDIT: Jaegar, I've looked into it and found that there's a really nasty bug with the Shop feature. It appears that if you eight items currently in your inventory and you try to purchase another item, the item will appear completely different in your inventory. Any items purchased after that will not show, I'm afraid. This is a problem that's effecting everyone, as I ran into the same problem on my account; the items after the eight item would not show properly.

I'll try to debug the Shop code and try to fix the problem. For now, I would recommend just keeping a total of eight items. You should probably sell off any previous item to make room for a new item.

Hmm, it's strange. I tried testing another account with the shop and for them, nine items appear fine. But items purchased after the ninth item would not show up at all.

In any case, I'm going to have to take a good look at the shop code to see what's causing this bug.

EDIT: Still can't figure out what is causing the problem. For now, I have set the item limit to 8 items total. Jaegar, I've reinbursed you for the Alice and Bonbon pet, since they weren't showing up anyhow.

After a long time without shop updates, the Shop has been updated with many new items for sale! Some previously existing shop item prices have also been adjusted to match LegacyRO's current market prices. In other words, prices on expensive items are now lower!
