Shiritori!
Anyone who likes Japanese stuff should know this game. It's the one where you take turns saying words and each word has to start with the last letter of the previous word. I forgot the name so I looked it up here. That site also has the exact rules. We're playing in English, so ignore the thing about words ending in -n ending the game.
[showofflimitedknowledgeofJapanese](You can't start a word with ん in Japanese.) [/showofflimitedknowledgeofJapanese]
Here's an example, I'll use only titles of anime I've watched to keep it short
Fullmetal Alchemist -> Tenjou Tenge -> Escafowne -> Excel Saga -> Ancient Books of Ys -> Saber Marionette J -> Jin Roh -> Hellsing -> Gantz... darn you Z >.> lol
I'm not sure how well this will go since we're playing over a long period of time and we'll have a relatively long time to think of words. I guess if nobody responds for a while (a week?) we'll declare the game over and start a new one. Let's try to keep our first game in the theme of "video games". I'll start with the first word of the first description turned up by a google search for "video games"
Ehh, kinda boring. The first word is NEWS
First game over! The game was ended by the word "Tomb Raider 2" from Hadvi with 11 total words in the game.
Game 2: The previous game was ended by the number 2, so the theme for this game was pairs.
Second game over! The game was ended by the word "nail" from Me with 16 total words in the game.
Third game over! The game was ended by the word "evil" from Ben with 104 total words in the game (I think, I multiplied the # of pages by posts per page XD).
Game 4: It's moooorning here T.T That's the theme for this game. Use any word you can think of that has some kind of relation to morning. (PS as this is getting a bit long, for future reference, this game starts on p. 10)

o.o not quite.
The last letter of "news" is "s" and the theme is "video games" so you could pick any word that starts with s and fits the theme of video games somehow. there's an example on the site I linked to, but it's not so clear unless you read Japanese. I'll add an example of my own to my original post.

ahhhhh death by number >.< I give up. okay, that was amusing while we had ideas so let's start another. Since the number 2 killed the last game the theme will be "pairs" That also works as the starting word I guess...
pairs
