according to a walkthrough the lower level the pet is when you catch it the stronger it will be at later levels. so level 5 turtle might jest become really powerful

8388... damn you fallout 3 D: and its addicting gameplay
prob be on PW tonight fallout 3 has been too adicting . with broken steel dogmeat,sargent RL3 and fawke are almost invinsible as there hp multiplys instead of adds like human/charons hp .i got dogmeat and RL3 fight each other to see whos best and RL3 won even though he had alot less hp 
. RL3 is urber O.o he was jest running around town owning everything and im only level 7 
i still havent got dogmeat puppie *which gets like double more hp 
* and RL3 doesent need that i think 
. havent got Fawke yet so i cant say. picked up terrible shotgun which aint terrible at all , A3s plasma rifle and Wired Reflexes 2 in 1 quest reward 
. wasteland suvival guide complete with 3% critical bonus path 
and il probably play some more today
