I’m excited to share that Dragon Alchenomicon is now officially available for Android!
Dragon Alchenomicon is a companion app designed for Dragon Quest VIII, IX, X, and XI, making it easy to look up alchemy and forge recipes quickly and efficiently. No more jumping between guides or digging through websites, everything you need is now available in one place.
I originally came up with this app idea while playing Dragon Quest VIII and constantly fumbling through different guides and websites just to look up recipes. It was actually my first Android app idea when I started exploring Android development, but at the time, I ended up building Dragon Geo instead.
This app sat in a semi-incomplete state for quite a while, but I recently revisited it and was able to bring it across the finish line with some help from agentic AI tooling. As part of that process, I also expanded the scope to include support for Dragon Quest IX, X, and XI.
